American Environics Strategies is lead by Jeff Navin, an experienced political strategist. Jeff has built, managed and advised a number of highly successful political organizations. He served as Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth where he built a team that expanded the Congresswoman's narrow margin of victory in 2004 into a forty point margin of victory in 2006. Prior to his service in the House, he served as Research Director to Democratic Leader Tom Daschle, where he provided strategic advice on politics, communications and message development. In 2006, he served as an advisor to the South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families' successful effort to overturn that state's restrictive ban on almost all abortions. Jeff has worked on a variety of state and federal campaigns in roles ranging from fundraising to field including stints at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Senator Tim Johnson's successful reelection bid in 2002. He is currently the Board Chair of the Center for Progressive Leadership.
